On behalf of the organising committee, I have the honour to invite you to the International Nippon Kempo Tournament.
European Nippon Kempo tournament is one of the biggest Nippon Kempo competitions in Eastern Europe. Team representatives from all around the world will participate in the competition.
The tournament will take place on May 23-24, 2020 in one of the most beautiful cities of Ukraine, the capital Kiev.
In the context of the competition, the referee and technical Nippon Kempo seminar will take place the day before the competition, on May 22.

The information on visa-free entry regime to Ukraine is available on the official website of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine.

Tournament Scheme
The Tournament will unfold according to the Olympic system with double repechage.
The duration of the combat – 2 minutes for women, 3 minutes for men in accordance with the rules of the Japanese Nippon Kempo organisation.
Tournament Rules
The Tournament will be held by the rules of the Japanese Nippon Kempo organisation currently in effect.
Awards
Winners of the Tournament are awarded medals, certificates, and a cup, medallists — certificate and medal.
Prize money in Individual Kumite category:
1st place: 300$.
2nd place: 200$.
3nd place: 100$.

Tournament Participants
National teams are qualified to participate in the Tournament. The age of the participants over 18 y.o. is defined by the date of May 22, 2020. A team is compounded of 8 participants: 5 male, 4 female, 1 representative. A representative can submit an application of a standard form to the Credentials committee. It includes identification documents proving a sportsman’s identity and age, certificate of insurance, one photo, contribution to the authorized fund in the sum of 30 c.u.
Equipment
The equipment of the Tournament’s participants must meet the rules and standards of Nippon Kempo.
Referees
All qualified referees and judges are welcome. All the referees are provided catering. Referees are awarded valuable gifts.

For any questions regarding placement in Kiev (booking, transfer, excursions), please contact the official partner of the Tournament.
Entry fee:
- Individual competition $30.
- Team competition $100.
- Cash is accepted.
